Ingredients

  1. 1 cupSooji/ rava/ semolina -
  2. 1/2 cupWarm water/ pani -
  3. Oil - 1/4 cup for kneading dough and remaining asreuired for fry
  4. 1 teaspoonBaking powder -
  5. 1 teaspoonCornflour -

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil 1/2 cup water and wait for little bit cool down

  2. 2

    Add oil, baking powder in sooji and mix well.

  3. 3

    Add water and make a soft sticky dough. Add cornflour and knead for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Rest the dough for 30 minutes.

  5. 5

    Knead again for 5 minutes and make around 50 balls from this dough.

  6. 6

    Heat oil in a pan. Roll batashe in cylindrical shape using rolling pin and deep fry on medium high flame.

  7. 7

    Sooji ke Batashe' are ready now. Serve them with chopped boiled potatoes and masala water. Enjoy!!!
