Boil the raw banana and potatoes to 3 whistles. When the bananas are cooked, take it out in a plate and allow it to cool completely.

Remove the skin from banana and potato.

Mash the banana and potatoes and keep it aside.

Take the onion,green chillies, ginger and garlic and grind it to a fine paste.

To the mashed vegetables add Salt, 1tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder and 1 tbsp onion paste and coriander leaves and besan and knead it to form a dough.

Prepare the balls from the dough.

In a kadhai heat the oil, and when it is heated properly add the kofta balls and fry in medium flame till it turns golden brown. It will take about 10 mins.

Take out the kofta balls in absorbent paper and allow it to cool.

Heat oil in a kadhai, add oil and crackle cumin seeds, bay leaves and hing.

To it add the onion paste and fry till it turns brown and leaves the sides.

Add the tomato puree to it and cook it till it starts leaving the sides.

Add the spices and saute it.

Add 1 cup water and salt and sugar and allow the gravy to boil.

When it comes to first boil, add the koftas and cook for 2 min on medium to high flame.

Add the cream, garam masala and coriander leaves and turn off the flame.

Raw banana kofta curry is ready to serve. Serve it hot with rice or roti.
