Halwa is Malbar's traditional sweet. Here it is healthy version of halwa with Jaggery without sugar, gives awesome taste.
Steps

Soak whole wheat for 6 hours.

Drain off water.

Grind until smooth by adding sufficient water.

Strain the milk.
- 5
Add one to double water cover and keep aside for fermentation 1 day.

Next day drain the collected water.

Again add sufficient water, cover and keep aside for fermentation, repeat same process for 4 days.

On fifth day drain the collected water and add 3 cups of water.

Start cook in low flame, continuous sauteeing to avoid lumps.

When you get porridge add Jaggery and mix well, saute until thick.

Add ghee little by little and saute.

Fry until you get halwa texture or it completely leaves the bottom.

Add cardamom powder, mix.

Add in dry nuts and mix, take off flame.

Grease a plate with 1 tsp of ghee.

Transfer the halwa, spread evenly and allow it to cool.

Cut into desired shape and serve healthy homemade halwa.
