Preheat the oven at 180 C for at least 10 minutes. Take a large bowl and keep a large strainer over it to sift all purpose flour, baking powder & salt.

Add melted butter & sugar in a bowl. Beat with hand blender until creamy & smooth.
Add vanilla extract. Beat again for 2-3 minutes. - 3
Add desiccated coconut. Mix with spatula.

Add sifted flour. Combine with spatula or hands. If mixture looks dry add 1 tbsp milk or more. Knead like a dough. If mixture is soft to make patty keep it in fridge for 15-20 minutes.

Divide 20 - 25 equal portions of dough. Flatten it between your palms.

Take desiccated coconut in a dish coat top side of cookie in it

Line a baking tray either parchment paper or aluminum foil. Place them on baking tray.

Bake cookies on pre heated oven for 8-10 minutes or until it's edges looks golden brown.
Remove baking tray out of oven. With the help of spatula transfer them on cooling rack. Let them cool on room temperature. - 9
Once cooled store them in air tight container.
