Ingredients

Serves 4 to 6 servings
  1. 3eggs
  2. 3/4 cupheavy cream (about 200 ml)
  3. 3/4 cupmilk (about 200 ml)
  4. 1 packagediced chicken breast or bacon bits
  5. 1pie crust (refrigerated or homemade)
  6. Salt
  7. Pepper
  8. Nutmeg
  9. Butter

    Place the pie crust in a suitable baking dish.

  2. 2

    Prick the crust with a fork, then dot with a few pieces of butter.

  3. 3

    Cook the bacon bits (if using).

  4. 4

    Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and milk.

  5. 5

    Add the cooked bacon or diced chicken.

  6. 6

    Season to taste. (I personally use salt, pepper, ground nutmeg, oregano, and shredded Swiss cheese.)

  7. 7

    Pour the mixture over the pie crust.

  8. 8

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake for 45 minutes.

  9. 9

    For extra browning, use your oven's broil setting for a few minutes at the end.

  10. 10

    It's ready—enjoy!
