Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 lbLean Ground Beef
  2. 3 Tbsp.Butter or Olive Oil
  3. 2Med Green Bell Peppers
  4. 1Sm Onion
  5. 3 cupscooked White Rice
  6. 14.5 ozPetite Diced Tomatoes, undrained
  7. 15 ozContadina Tomato Sauce. Italian Herb with Sea Salt
  8. 1 tspMinced Garlic
  9. Salt & Pepper
  10. 1 tspPaprika
  11. 1 TbspItalian Seasoning
  12. 1/4 CupWater

Cooking Instructions

    Brown beef. When done drain and set aside.

    Dice LG Bell Pepper and Onion into small pieces. About 3/8" squares.

    Cook the 3 cups of Rice according to package directions.

  4. 4

    While rice is cooking. Melt 3 tbsp of butter to large skillet. Add the peppers and onions and cook covered under medium heat under onions are slightly brown and peppers are tender.

    Add Garlic, Italian Seasoning and Paprika to Onions and Peppers. Mix well

  6. 6

    Add the Beef, Diced Tomatoes, Tomato Sauce, Rice and mix well.

  7. 7

    Add water, approx 1/3 or 1/4 to get desired consistency.

    Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.

Really tasty! I had to sub tomato soup for sauce and stewed tomatoes (I chopped) for diced because of what I had on hand, but we really enjoyed! Hot sauce took it up a notch.
