Ingredients

  1. 1 kgchicken cut into pieces
  2. 2 tbspcooking oil
  3. 5 clovesgarlic, crushed
  4. 1finger sized ginger, sliced
  5. 1medium red onion, sliced
  6. 1 tspfish sauce
  7. 1 tspground black pepper
  8. 3 cupswater
  9. 1chicken cube
  10. 1 1/2 cupssayote or unripe papaya, sliced
  11. 1red bell pepper, juliened
  12. 2 cupschilli or malunggay leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Heat cooking oil in a large pot

    Sauté garlic, ginger and onion until fragrant

  3. 3

    Add in the chicken pieces and sauté for 5 mins

  4. 4

    Add in the fish sauce and black pepper and pour in the water and sayote

  5. 5

    Bring to boile and simmer for 5 minutes to cook the chicken

  6. 6

    Add in the chicken cube and bell pepper and simmer for another 3 minutes

  7. 7

    Finally, add in the chilli leaves and simmer for 2 minutes before turning off the heat.

  8. 8

    Serve with steamed rice and enjoy!
