Ingredients

  1. 2 tablespoonGratted jaggery
  2. 250 gramsSweet potatoes
  3. 1 katoriMaida
  4. 3 tablespoonOil for moyan
  5. 2 tablespoonChopped dry fruits
  6. 2 cupRefined oil for frying
  7. 1 tablespoonPure Ghee
  8. 1/2 teaspoonCardamom powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the sweet potatoes and then peel and grate them.

  2. 2

    Now roast them in 1 tablespoon pure ghee.Once cooled down, add gratted jaggery, cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits and mix well.

  3. 3

    Sieve flour and add 2 tablespoon refined oil and give moyan. Add water and make a fine dough. Cover for 10mins and keep it aside.

  4. 4

    Take small portion of the dough and roll it into small puris, now add flour and water mixture onto the corners and add the sweet potato and jaggery stuffing.

  5. 5

    Now give it shape into ghujiya mould. Take a wok and heat oil and now fry the ghujiyas on low flame.

  6. 6

    Your ghujiya is ready, serve hot and enjoy.
