Ingredients

6 servings
  • 48fresh mussels
  • 2 tbspbutter
  • 2minced garlic cloved
  • 1finely diced onion
  • 1finely diced celery stalk
  • 1 cupred wine
  • 2 cupstewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 tspbasil leaves
  • 1/4 tspblack pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    scrub and debeard the mussels

  2. 2

    heat the butter in a saucepan

  3. 3

    add the garlic, onion, and celery

  4. 4

    saute until tender

  5. 5

    add the remaining ingredients (not the mussels) and simmer for 15 minutes

  6. 6

    add the mussels and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes.

  7. 7

    serve

  8. 8

    ENJOY
