Ingredients

30 mins
4 servings
  • 3/4 ozdehydrated mushrooms or 1-1/2 ounce fresh
  • 3 tbspbutter
  • 1 largeonion, chopped
  • 4 clovegarlic, thin sliced
  • 3 tbspflour
  • 3 cupbeef broth
  • 1/4 tspground nutmeg
  • 2 cupmushrooms water
  • 1/2 cupheavy cream
  • 1Salt & pepper to taste

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Rinse mushrooms in 3-cups hot water - set aside.

  2. 2

    Melt butter, add onions and garlic.

  3. 3

    Add in 2-cups mushroom water, watch out for possible bottom sludge.

  4. 4

    Stir in flour, beef broth and nutmeg.

  5. 5

    Cover and simmer for 30-minutes.

  6. 6

    Add rinsed mushroom to soup and salt & pepper to taste.

  7. 7

    Add cream and heat through.
