Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1 lbextra lean ground chicken or turkey
  2. 1cooking onion, diced
  3. 1red onion, diced
  4. 1zucchini, diced
  5. 2celery stalks, diced
  6. 2 clovegarlic, crushed
  7. 1/2 tspunrefined sea salt
  8. 1 tbspcold extracted virgin olive oil
  9. 2 cupred kidney beans, cooked
  10. 4 cupvegetable stalk or water
  11. 1 tbspdried parsley
  12. 1 dashcayenne pepper, or to taste
  13. 4carrots, diced
  14. 1 pieceof Wakame

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat olive oil in a large saucepan on medium heat.

  2. 2

    Place ground turkey or chicken in a saucepan and sauté until brown.

  3. 3

    Add the vegetables , salt, beans, Wakame and vegetable stock or water. Stir and bring to a boil.

  4. 4

    Cover slightly, reduce heat and simmer for 1 to 2 hours, stirring frequently.

  5. 5

    About 20 minutes before serving, add parsley and cayenne pepper and simmer until ready to serve.
