preheat oven 350% make the crust by creaming the butter an brown sugar untill fluffy in the mixer w/paddle attachment. add flour salt mix until crumblly. press the crust in foiled lined pan bake for 20 min.

while the crust is baking. prepare the filling, combine butter brown sugar, honey, an heavy cream in saucepan stirring over med heat simmer mixture for a min. then stir in the pecans.

remove the crust from oven an immediately pour the pecan filling over hot crust spreading it evenly. return pan to the oven for another 20 min. remove pan allow to cool. then use the over hang foil to lift out the bars. transfer them on a chopping board. peel off the foil then cut into squares.
