Ingredients

1 serving
  • 1 cupoats
  • 1 cupwheat suji
  • 1/2 teaspoonbaking powder/ soda
  • 1 cuplow fat curd
  • 1 cupwater
  • to tasteSalt
  • For chutney
  • 1/4 cuppea nuts
  • 1/4 cupchana dal
  • 3green chillies
  • 4-5garlic pods
  • 1 inchginger
  • 8-10curry leaves
  • 10-12mint leaves
  • leavesCoriander
  • to tasteSalt
  • Tamarind/ Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tea spooncummin seeds
  • For tempering chutney
  • 7-8curry leaves
  • 1/4 tea spooncummin seeds
  • 1/4 tea spoonmustard seeds
  • 1/4 tea spoonurad dal

Steps

  1. 1

    Dry roast oats and make a fine powder

  2. 2

    In a bowl add suji, oats powder, baking powder,salt and curd. If required add water. N keep it for rest atleat 15-20 minutes

  3. 3

    In idli steamer ste the idli

  4. 4

    For chutney dry roast peanuts chana dal, chillies cummin separetly

  5. 5

    In mixie jar add all the above ingredients n grind to make chutney

  6. 6

    Give temper using 2-3 drops of oil, add cummin, mustard, urad dal n curry leaves.

  7. 7

    Idlis are ready to serve
