Ingredients

  1. 4 piecesSurmai fish
  2. 2 spoonshaldi
  3. 1 spoonred chilli powder
  4. 2 spoonscoriander powder
  5. 1 tspaamchur powder
  6. to tastesalt
  7. 1lemon
  8. slicesonion
  9. as neededcoriander leaves to garnish
  10. 4 tbspoil to shallow fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate fish in salt and lemon juice for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Wash fish and pat dry on kitchen towel.

  3. 3

    Much 1 spoon turmeric powder and 1 spoon coriander powder,coat the fish in this and shallow fry.(This is to avoid sticking at bottom and for crispness)

  4. 4

    Fry fish on slow flame both sides till crispy.

  5. 5

    When fish is ready, add all the remaining masalas,roast for few seconds and switch off gas.

  6. 6

    Serve hot with lemon wedges and onions slices, decorate with coriander leaves.
