Steps

Take 1/2 cup long grain rice in a bowl and soak it for at least 1 hour in water

Crush rice with fingers and drain water - the rice is now ready to use

Take the saffron in a small bowl, add some milk to it and keep it aside

In a large pan add milk and on medium flame, bring it to a slow boil. Keep stirring.

Add rice and keep stirring for about 30-45 mins or till you achieve the required thickness.

Add sugar to taste. Stir well. Add the saffron that was kept aside.

Add crushed Almonds, Cashews and Raisins. Stir well.

Add few drops of rose water.

Garnish with crushed almonds and serve hot or cold.
