Mash the pears to
equal about 2 cups of mashed pears and set aside - 2
Heat 1 cup of pear
juice (if there isn't quite 1 cup add water to make 1 cup liquid) to
boiling. - 3
Put 1 package of lime jello (small package) in a glass bowl and
pour boiling juice over the jello and stir well making sure all the
jello is dissolved. - 4
Let set in frig just till very thick but not set
(about 30 minutes). - 5
While the jello is thickening beat 1- 8 ounce
package of room temperature cream cheese (the kind in the brick) with 2
teaspoons of cream or milk until smooth - 6
When jello is thick, mix
thickened jello, cream cheese mixture, mashed pears and 1 8-oz container
of cool whip with mixer on low speed till mixed well.
