Ingredients

  1. 1 canlarge of pears
  2. 1 packagessmall lime jello
  3. 18 oz brick room temp cream cheese
  4. 2 tspcream or milk
  5. 8 ozcontainer cool whip

Steps

  1. 1

    Mash the pears to 
    equal about 2 cups of mashed pears and set aside

  2. 2

     Heat 1 cup of pear 
    juice (if there isn't quite 1 cup add water to make 1 cup liquid) to 
    boiling. 

  3. 3

    Put 1 package of lime jello (small package) in a glass bowl and 
    pour boiling juice over the jello and stir well making sure all the 
    jello is dissolved.

  4. 4

      Let set in frig just till very thick but not set 
    (about 30 minutes).

  5. 5

    While the jello is thickening beat 1- 8 ounce 
    package of room temperature cream cheese (the kind in the brick) with 2 
    teaspoons of cream or milk until smooth

  6. 6

    When jello is thick, mix  
    thickened jello, cream cheese mixture, mashed pears and 1 8-oz container 
    of cool whip with mixer on low speed till mixed well.
