Ingredients

12 servings
  1. 2 lbground beef
  2. 2 tspdried onion
  3. 2 clovechopped garlic (or 1/2 t garlic powder)
  4. 2 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1/2 tsppepper
  6. 2 tspItalian seasoning
  7. 2 can6oz tomato sauce
  8. 1 1/2 cuphot water
  9. 2 cupcottage or ricotta cheese
  10. 2eggs ( beaten)
  11. 9lasagna noodles
  12. 4 cupshredded mozzarella (maybe mix cheddar)
  13. 1/4 cupgrated Parmesan

Cooking Instructions

    Brown beef, onion and garlic in pan, season with salt & pepper and Italian seasoning

  2. 2

    Stir in tomato paste and hot water and bring 
    to a boil

  3. 3

    Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes

  4. 4

    In a bowl mix cottage chees and eggs and set aside. 

  5. 5

    Spread a thin layer of beef mixture in a GREASED 9x13 pan; top with a 
    layer of 3 noodles.

     Spread 1/3 the cottage cheese mixture over noodles 
    and 1/3 the mozzarella cheese

  7. 7

    Repeat layers 2 more times and sprinkle 
    with parmesan cheese.

  8. 8

    Cover pan with foil tightly and bake at 350 for 
    45 minutes.  Let stand about 15 minutes before cutting

  9. 9

    **for seafood sub crab and salad shrimp and Alfredo**
