Ingredients

  • 200 gmBajra
  • 150 gmMoong dal
  • 2 tbspGhee
  • 1 pinchAsafoetida
  • 1 tspCumin seeds
  • 2Green chilli chopped
  • 1 inchGinger
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric pwr
  • 1/2 small bowlGreen peas
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspGreen Coriander

Steps

    Method -
    Clean the bajra and make it clean. Add some water to wet the millet (give it to the millet). After that, put the millet in the margarine and make it so that all the roasting of millet should be removed.Separately, split the husk and split the bajra. 

    Add ghee to the cooker and heat it. Put asafetida and cumin seeds. After roasting cumin, add green chillies, ginger, turmeric powder and peas and fry for 2 minutes.

    Now wash the millet in this masala and fry the khichadi by running spoon for 2-3 minutes. 

    Put 4 times the amount of lentils and millet. Shut the cooker After a whistle, let the khichdi cook on low flame for 5 minutes. Turn the gas off.

    Open the cooker's lid after the pressure cooker is over. Your bajra khichadi is ready. Take the khichadi into the bowl. Put green coriander on top and decorate it. Serve and eat with warm garam masala khichadi curd, pickle and chutney
