Salmon Potato Foil Packets

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Begin by peeling potatoes, slicing them in thin slices. Lay out a large enough piece of tin foil to wrap up everything. Add potatoes onto piece of tin foil. Sprinkle potatoes with olive oil.
- 2
Now add salmon filet to the top of potatoes & rub minced garlic onto the top of filet. Now squeeze lemon juice onto filet.
- 3
Then take your sliced onion & place ontop of potatoes & filet. Season with salt, pepper & old bay seasoning. Divide butter into pats & place ontop potatoes & filet.
- 4
Preheat oven to 400°. Wrap up packet tightly so all seams are closed so the juices do not come out of foil packet. Place on a cookie sheet, put in oven for 30-35 mins or until potatoes are tender & salmon is fully cooked. Enjoy!

Salmon Baked in Foil Salmon Baked in Foil
My mom used to make these in a pan, but I can prepare side dishes while these are steaming in the oven, so I changed the recipe like this...When closing the aluminum foil in step 4, if you fold 1 cm of each end 2-3 time and again in the center, then the steam will not escape. When eating, I think adding a bit of soy sauce or ponzu sauce, if you prefer, is delicious. When opening the aluminum foil, it is really hot, so be careful not to burn yourself.
