Ingredients

30 mins
4 servings
  1. brine
  2. 16 ozboiling water
  3. 1/3 cupsugar
  4. 1/3 cupsalt
  5. cupice
  6. 1 lbshrimp, raw and peeled
  7. 1old bay seasoning
  8. 1seafood cocktail sauce
  9. 1lemon wedges

  1. 1

    Dissolve sugar and salt in water

  2. 2

    Add ice to brine to bring temp down so as not to cook shrimp while brining

  3. 3

    Soak shrimp for 15 to 20 minutes in brine, not to long or they will be salty

  4. 4

    Spray baking sheet with non stick cooking spray. Spread out shrimp on pan. Sprinkle on old bay seasoning. Flip shrimp and season other side

  5. 5

    Cook shrimp 6 inches under boiler for 2 minutes. Flip shrimp and broil for additional minute.

  6. 6

    Place shrimp in fridgerator for a few minutes to prevent internal overcooking

  7. 7

    Serve with seafood cocktail sauce and lemon wedges
