Marinate the rohu fishes with salt and shallow fry them in vegetable oil. Keep them aside.

Boil the onion and make a smooth paste of it.

Again heat some vegetable oil in a wok and add the bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom. Saute them till the smell oozes out. Add the onion paste, ginger paste, green chilly paste, garlic paste and then fry them till the raw smell disappears but make sure it won't get brown. Add some salt.

Add the poppy seed paste, cashew nut paste and saute it well. The flame should be lowered at this point.

Add the honey, mix them well.

Add the green chillies. Save some of them for garnishing.

Add the water. Bring it to boil and some salt

Add the pieces of rohu fish.

Cover the wok with a lid.

When the gravy comes to the desired consistency, add the ghee and raisins. Mix them well.

Remove it from the flame.

Garnish it with some green chillies and coriander leaves.

Your Rui Madhuri is ready to be served.
