Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 stickUnsalted butter (6oz)
  • 4 1/2 tbspVegetable shortening (2oz)
  • 7 tbspApplejack
  • 2 2/3 cupAll purpose flour (12oz)
  • 1 tspTable salt
  • 1 tbspSugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine flour, salt, and sugar

  2. 2

    Cut cold butter into small cubes, mix in to flour/salt/sugar mix

  3. 3

    Mix shortening into flour/salt/sugar/butter mix

  4. 4

    Sprinkle Applejack into mixture while mixing one tablespoon at a time until everything sticks together
