Ingredients

  1. 1pie shell
  2. 2/3 cuplight corn syrup
  3. 2/3 cupbrown sugar
  4. 2eggs
  5. 3 tbspbutter
  6. 1 tspvanilla extract
  7. pinchsalt
  8. 3/4 cupwhole pecans

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 325°F. Defrost pie shell.

  2. 2

    In a large bowl melt butter.

  3. 3

    Mix in corn syrup, vanilla, and eggs.

  4. 4

    Mix in brown sugar and salt.

  5. 5

    Fold in pecans till covered with mixture.

  6. 6

    Pour into pie shell.

  7. 7

    Place on bottom rack and bake for an hour.
