wash and pat dry chicken wings

heat garlic and ginger in 2 tbs oil to infuse flavor, remove when lightly colored and set aside keeping oil in pan

lightly brown 12 chicken wings in heated oil

add back the garlic and ginger and 3 tbs soy sauce
- 5
Let simmer (covered) for 10 minutes

remove lid and turn up heat until juices evaporate and glaze the chicken
- 7
Once all liquid has been evaporated put on serving dish and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions
