Ingredients

  1. 4Green tomatoes, cut into 1/4 inch rings
  2. 1Salt and black pepper
  3. 3/4 cupFlour
  4. 1 tbspGarlic powder
  5. 4Eggs
  6. 2 tbspMilk
  7. 1 1/2 cupPanko bread crumbs
  8. 1 pinchCayenne pepper
  9. 1 pinchPaprika

Steps

  1. 1

    Pre heat oil to 350

  2. 2

    Season tomatoes on both sides with salt and pepper

  3. 3

    Place garlic powder and flour into shallow dish

  4. 4

    In another shallow dish beat eggs with milk

  5. 5

    Dredge tomatoes through flour, then eggs, then bread crumbs

  6. 6

    Add only a few pieces to the fryer at a time, cook evenly, about 2-3 minutes

  7. 7

    Drain on paper towel and serve
