Steps

Wash the basmati rice under running water and keep aside.

Wash the spinach leaves,mint leaves and coriander leaves.

In a blender add spinach leaves, mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, chillies, diced onions and tomatoes.

Blend them into puree.

Now in a cooker heat oil add cumin seeds,as they crackle add the puree stir well.

Add the rice and all the spices.

Mix well and add water as required.

Cook for 2 whistles.

Serve immediately with tomato peel garnish,cucumber raita and roasted papad.
