Pork and Potato Stew

I'm 19 and most of the time my family is wary when I cook, but after I created this stew by myself, I've gotten lots of praise. My picky grandfather even had two full bowls and leftovers the next day! Wow!

I'm 19 and most of the time my family is wary when I cook, but after I created this stew by myself, I've gotten lots of praise. My picky grandfather even had two full bowls and leftovers the next day! Wow!
Steps
- 1
Cut pork loin and remove the fat. Cook thoroughly in a frying pan. Set aside.
- 2
Wash and peel carrots. Chop into slices and add to a stew pot.
- 3
Add the drained peas, corn, and green beans to the pot.
- 4
Wash the Serrano pepper, slice and the quarter the slices and add to the pot. Generally only use half the pepper, however for spicy stew you could use more.
- 5
Wash and chop the green onions, add to the pot.
- 6
Thoroughly wash the potatoes, cut them into cubes.
- 7
Unwrap the bouillon cubes and smash them. Mix them with the garlic salt, parsley, and cornstarch.
- 8
Add the pork to the pot. Pour the water over the ingredients in the pot and stir until thoroughly mixed.
- 9
Simmer on the stove top covered for about an hour to an hour and a half.
