Ingredients

  1. 2 cupscorn flour (Maseca)
  2. 1/4 cupall-purpose flour
  3. 1/2 teaspoonbaking powder (optional)
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Oil
  6. as neededWater
  7. Filling:
  8. tuna, peppers, pork rinds, cactus, ground beef, chorizo, etc

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all ingredients and knead until you get a smooth dough.

    Form balls as big or small as you like, press the ball between plastic (a bag) and press until you form a tortilla. You can use a press or a plate.

  3. 3

    This time, I filled them with cactus and chorizo and peppers with cheese. Fold them, shape them with the same plastic, and to seal them well, here's a tip: press with a bowl (see photo) and they're ready to fry.

  4. 4

    They turned out delicious!!! 😋 You can serve them with rice, or open them and add lettuce and sauces.
