  1. 2 cupself rising flour
  2. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  3. 1 stickcold cubed butter
  4. 1 tspfresh chopped parsley
  5. 1 tspfresh chopped thyme
  6. 1 tbspcracked black pepper
  7. 1/2 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  8. 1 cupbuttermilk

    preheat oven 425

  2. 2

    cut butter into dry ingredients until pea sized pieces form

  3. 3

    mix in buttermilk quickly so butter doesn't melt

  4. 4

    ice cream scoop 9-10 biscuits onto cookie sheet

  5. 5

    brush tops with melted butter & sprinkle with black pepper

  6. 6

    bake about 15 minutes, until golden brown
