Dal Palak Potato Cheese Baked Casserole

Wash ; chop palak.

Cut big pieces of onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic and green chilli paste.

In a big vessel pour 2-3 cups water.

Add all the veggies and boil for 15mins.

Allow it to cool.

Grind it to a smooth paste.

In a pan heat ghee.

Add palak,all the dry masalas and cook for 15mins or till water dries.

Adjust the taste.

Peel ; potatoes and make slices.

Wash and apply salt on potatoes.

In a pan ; heat ghee and saute potatoes on slow flame.

Cover and cook till done.

Grease the baking dish with butter.

Place layer of potato, layer of dal, layer of palak, layer of potato, layer of grated paneer and in the last layer of grated cheese.

Dot it with butter.

Keep it in pre- heated oven for 20-30mins or till the cheese is melted.

Serve hot.
