Ingredients

  • 2 cupssifted flour
  • 4 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonssalt
  • 4 tablespoonsbutter 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cupsbrown sugar
  • 7 tablespoonsbutter
  • 1/4 teaspoonscinnamon
  • 1/2 cupspecans

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift flour measure add salt baking powder and sift again

  2. 2

    Cut in shortening gradually add milk and make into soft dough

  3. 3

    Turn the dough on a lightly floured board and roll to 1/4 inch thickness spread dough with soft butter

  4. 4

    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup light brown sugar and cinnamon roll like jelly roll and cut in pieces 1/2 inch thick

  5. 5

    In bottom of the baking pan melt butter add light brown sugar and pecans

  6. 6

    Place rolls cut side down and bake at 400 for 20 to 25 minutes.
