Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 16-20Padron peppers
  2. 5-8Shiitake mushrooms or button cup mushrooms
  3. 2 tspSoy sauce
  4. 2 tspMirin
  5. 1.5 tbspOil
  6. Shichimi Tougarashi (Japanese chili mix)

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Make small slits in the padron pepper. Slice the mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Heat the oil in a pan and saute the pepper and mushroom on medium heat. Once the pepper turns soft brown in some areas, season with soy sauce and mirin.

  3. 3

    Sprinkle Shichimi upon serving.
