Ingredients

  1. 250 gramsbeef or other mince
  2. 1 eachonion, finely chopped
  3. 2 tbsptikka masala curry paste
  4. 1salt & pepper
  5. 1 eachegg, beaten
  6. 1sheet puff pastry
  7. 1 tbsppoppy or sesame seeds

    Combine mince, onion, curry paste, season, mix thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Cover and rest in fridge overnight

  3. 3

    Pre-heat oven to 200°C. Line baking tray(s).

  4. 4

    Cut pastry sheet in half lengthways, put half the mince mixture down long edge of each piece.

  5. 5

    Brush pastry with egg and roll up to enclose.

  6. 6

    Brush outside of each roll with egg, sprinkle with poppy seeds.

  7. 7

    Cut each roll into 4cm pieces and place on baking paper lined tray.

  8. 8

    Bake for 25 mins until sausage rolls are crisp and golden.

  9. 9

    Allow to cool slightly before serving.
