Ingredients

  • 1 jaror bottle of spaghetti sauce
  • 1 tbspMinced dry onion
  • 1 lbHamburger, pork, or chicken cooked
  • 2 cupCooked cavatelli or Rigatoni pasta
  • 1/2 cupShredded mozzarella, cheddar, or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tbspButter
  • 2 tbspAll purpose flour
  • 1/4 cupWater
  • 1 dashPepper

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large sauce pan melt butter and stir in sauce, onion, water, flour, and pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook and stir till mixture is thick and bubbly.

  3. 3

    Stir in meat and pasta.

  4. 4

    Pour into a 2 quart casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 400°F for 3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for another 5 minutes.
