Ingredients

  1. 500 grmsparwal
  2. 2potatoes
  3. 1 tablespoondhaniya powder
  4. 1 teaspoonjeera powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli Powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  7. 1bay leaf
  8. 1 teaspoonwhole jeera
  9. 1 teaspoonginger paste
  10. 1tomato nicely chopped
  11. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala powder
  12. To tastesalt and sugar
  13. As neededoil
  14. As neededwater

Steps

    Peel off the parwal and give s cut at the both ends

  2. 2

    Peel off the Potatoes and cut into long slices

  3. 3

    Heat a wok add oil and saute the parwal adding salt and sugar

  4. 4

    As the parwal gets fried well take out of the wok and keep aside

  5. 5

    Now fry the Potatoes adding salt and turmeric and keep aside

  6. 6

    Add oil in the wok and temper the whole jeera and bay leaf

  7. 7

    Add the ginger paste and saute well till the raw smell disappears

  8. 8

    Add all the masala powder and salt,mix well

  9. 9

    Now add the tomatoes and cover till it gets soft

  10. 10

    Add the fried veggies combine all well

  11. 11

    Add water and cover till the veggies get tender

  12. 12

    Finally add sugar and chopped green chillies and garam masala powder

  13. 13

    Aaloo potoler dalna is ready
