Set saucepan to medium heat and add oil, once hot add chicken and brown the meat on all sides

Remove the meat and set aside

Chop onions, slice chilies, chop 1 inch piece of ginger, crush garlic

Keep saucepan to medium heat and add oil, sauteè onions for 2 minutes

Add the chili, ginger, and garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes

Add spices to the pan and dry roast for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly

Add tomatoes and bring the sauce to a boil

(optional) Transfer sauce to a blender and blend until smooth

Add the chicken and simmer for ~10-20 minutes or until the meat is fully cooked

Swirl in the yogurt and add chopped cilantro

Garnish with more cilantro, serve with rice and naan bread
