Cooking Instructions

Crush marie biscuits finely and mix with the melted butter. Pour into a springform baking tin and bake for approx 10 minutes in a medium oven.

Mix together the quark cheese, butter and sugar.

Add eggs, one at a time, to the creamed cheese mixture.

Add lemon rind and vanilla essence.

Por into tin over the biscuit crust, bake for approximately 30 minutes in a medium oven. The centre of the cake must be slightly wobbly.

Cool down and remove from tin.

Cook fresh strawberries with sugar until it resembles a thick sauce.

Pour over cheesecake and refrigerate for about 5 hours before serving.
