Ingredients

  1. 2 canbaby clams. remove liquid, n set aside
  2. 6 slicesmoked bacon
  3. 5 cupdiced potatoes
  4. 3/4 cupall-purpose flour
  5. 1 cupeach: celery, onion, fresh mushrooms
  6. 1/2 tspcelery salt & fresh parsley
  7. 1 quarthalf & half
  8. 1/2 tspsugar
  9. 3/4 cupbutter
  10. 3 clovegarlic
  11. 1 tspsalt
  12. 1/2 tsppepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine onion, garlic, potatoes, celery, salt n pepper, n reserve juice from clams.

  2. 2

    Add enough water to cover veggies.cover, n bring 2 a boil.

  3. 3

    Reduce heat & simmer 20 min. Add H&H & sugar.

  4. 4

    In saucepan, heat butter, n stir in flour. Add this to soup, & stir well.

  5. 5

    Then add clams, n season to taste!
