Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  • 1 tablespoonrock sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoonsalt
  • 1 tablespoonmushroom seasoning
  • 5 tablespoonssoy sauce
  • 20 gramsfinely chopped leek
  • 500 gramssake fruit
  • 1 sheetdried bean curd (about 150-200 grams, available at supermarkets)
  • 50 gramsdried forest mushrooms
  • 1chili pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper
  • 2/3 cupwater or fresh coconut water (about 150 ml)

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel the sake fruit, cut into bite-sized pieces, and soak in diluted salt water. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and soak them in water.

    Cut the dried bean curd into bite-sized pieces.

    Heat oil and sauté the leek until fragrant, then add soy sauce, seasonings, and water. Bring to a boil. Add the soaked sake and mushrooms, and cook for 20 minutes.

    Add the dried bean curd and cook for another 10 minutes.

    Finish by sprinkling a little pepper on top and enjoy with white rice!
