This recipe was born out of the need for speed. Pancakes happen to be my son's favorite meal (picky eaters unite! Lol), and I had to find a way to make it in the mornings while dressing him for school, and myself for work amidst other morning chores. I tried it once, and kept modifying until I can now claim to have a recipe that is perfect enough for me. So, let's dive in...

Ingredients

Three
  1. 150 gflour (1 1/2 cups)
  2. 1/3 cupsugar
  3. 1egg
  4. 1 cupmilk (you can substitute with water)
  5. 1/4 cupvegetable oil
  6. Butter (for greasing the toaster)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Whisk the egg and the milk together until it's well mixed. (If you're skipping the milk, just whisk the egg to mix the white and yolk together)

    Add the vegetable oil and mix

  3. 3

    Whisk in the sugar

  4. 4

    Gradually add the flour and mix. You can add more water until you get your desired consistency.

    Grease your toaster and scoop the batter into the sections of the toaster. Cover until it's cooked through.

    Remove the pancakes and repeat step 5 until you exhaust your batter.
