Steps

Wash moong Dal and rice and keep it aside.

Take a kadhai and heat ghee in it. Add jeera,bayleaf, Chillies, Onions and saute them.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook well. Add turmeric,salt,Hing.

Add the washed moong Dal and rice and add 4 cups of water and cook it on medium flame for about 15mins.

Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve with Dahi and pickle.
