Ingredients

45 mins
  1. 6dried red chilli de arbol peppers, sliced in half with seeds
  2. 4habaneros, sliced in half with seeds
  3. 6jalapeño, sliced in half with seeds
  4. 1/4 cupdried onion flakes
  5. 4 clovegarlic
  6. 1fresh cilantro
  7. 1 tspsalt
  8. 1 tspcumin powder
  9. 1 tspmexican oregano
  10. 1 tbspchilli powder
  11. 1 tsppaprika
  12. 4 tbspwhite vinegar
  13. 1fresh ground pepper
  14. 2 cupwater
  15. 2 cantomatoe sauce

Steps

45 mins
  1. 1

    make sure the red chilli peppers are the hot dried type with stems removed. Bring all ingredients, except tomatoe sauce, to a boil.

  2. 2

    turn down heat and simmer for about ten minutes.

  3. 3

    remove from heat and let cool

  4. 4

    place in blender and add tomatoe sauce

  5. 5

    blend until smooth. add a little bit more water if to thick.
