Growing up in Texas I ate a lot of fried chicken as a child and something I always noticed was everybody I knew that made it had their own way to do the breading. So naturally I had to one up my family and friends and came up with a simple yet delicious twist on the old favorite!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
put your flour in a bowl and mix your cheyenne pepper, salt, pepper, and garlic into flour very well.
- 2
take your eggs and beat them with your heavy cream.
- 3
dunk both sides of your chicken breasts into your flour mixture, then repeat that process in your egg wash then one more time in the flour, as to make sure your chicken will be thoroughly breaded.
- 4
heat your oil to 350°F in a fairly deep pot to prevent oil from going everywhere when you put your chicken in.
- 5
place chicken breasts in the heated oil, takes about 4 minutes a side (depending on the size of your chicken and heating of your oil will take or add a minute or two to cook time) keep watch that the outside doesnt cook to fast while the inside would stay raw.

Everyone loves my fried chicken. It's simple and delicious. It's my husband favorite dinner out of everything that I make. Everyone always asks how I make it and how I get the breading to stay on so good. Trial and error my friends, and some skills in the kitchen ;) Sarah -

I modified a recipe from "America's Most Wanted Recipes," which features recipes from famous restaurants and fast food chains.Chicken with bones attached tastes better than boneless. The original recipe uses 3 1/2 tablespoons of salt, and instead of allspice, uses accents, flavor enhancers, and a pressure fryer. Recipe by NY cookpad.japan -

We were out back trimming the avocado trees. Hauling limbs, and cutting wood. That’s hot hard work but a labor of love. Everyone was getting hungry and thirsty so I had all the ingredients for an early supper. Brined chicken wings ready for frying. This is how I do all of my fried chicken. It pulls the blood out. Call me weird, but, I do NOT like bloody chicken. Soaking it in the salt water is the ticket to tasty, juicy, seasoned chicken all the way to the bone. And who doesn’t like really good fried chicken?
