Well...., being a true born native of Dekina Kogi state, I wouldn't have grown up without knowing the real taste and value of our infamous bean soup (obo egwa). and I'm making it a part of my cook pad story....

Well...., being a true born native of Dekina Kogi state, I wouldn't have grown up without knowing the real taste and value of our infamous bean soup (obo egwa). and I'm making it a part of my cook pad story....
Steps

Pound and wash off the beans skin

Place the beans in pot with plenty of water boil till tender
- 3
Put in your stock fish, meat, onions, and salt. keep boiling till all beans is melted into fine particles. avoid thickening by adding water intermittently to prevent burning

Introduce your stock cubes crayfish, locust beans and oil. note the thickness shouldn't be more than this to avoid burning

You can add ugwu leaves or spinach and allow to simmer if desired.

Serve with swallow of choice. can be used to eat bread as well. 😁😁😁
