Rinse the beef and cut it into cubes about 1 1/4 inches (3 cm) wide. Marinate with minced garlic, oyster sauce, black pepper, and sugar. Add a little sesame oil for extra flavor (or substitute with vegetable oil if needed).
- Let marinate for 15-30 minutes. - 2
Wash the bell peppers and cut them into bite-sized cubes. Remove the seeds and inner membranes.
- Wash and chop the cilantro or parsley for garnish. - 3
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the marinated beef and stir-fry until just cooked through. Next, add 2 tablespoons of ketchup. Stir-fry for about 1 minute so the sauce coats the beef evenly.

Add the bell peppers and stir-fry together.

For extra aroma and flavor, add 1-2 tablespoons of red wine. Continue cooking for about 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Transfer to a plate and garnish as desired. This dish is also delicious served with bread! :)
