I love this recipe. The flavor of the zucchini with the meat and cheese is absolutely delicious.

Gather your ingredients. Cut the zucchinis lengthwise and cook them in salted water for about 10 to 15 minutes (make sure they are al dente), then set aside.

Fry the bacon, and in the same oil, sauté the onion (add more oil if necessary).

Then add the garlic, meat, salt, pepper, and bay leaves, and cook for about 15 minutes.

Add the tomatoes and puree, and cook for about 20 more minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add a bit of butter, salt, and pepper to the zucchinis.

Top with the meat and cheese, and microwave until the cheese melts. You can add a little sauce on top and enjoy.

Clean the zucchinis by removing all the seeds, but do not throw them away (be careful not to break the zucchinis).

Remember that the ingredients can be adjusted to taste, more or less. ☺

With the seeds you removed, you can make a delicious cream, like I do. Look for it in my recipes, it's called zucchini seed and epazote cream. You'll love it and have a complete dish.
