Cauliflower Rice with Stir-Fried Basil Pork (Keto)

Rice contains a lot of carbs, which can lead to excessive energy intake and not feeling full. So, we use cauliflower instead of rice. This meal is packed with vegetables and closely resembles rice.
The calories per meal should not be too low or too high to maintain normal energy metabolism and prevent the yo-yo effect.

We choose olive oil because it provides HDL, the good fat that the body needs.

We use sea salt instead of fish sauce for its natural sweetness, reducing the need for other sweeteners.

Pork is used to provide the body with all three types of fats: saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats, as the body needs all types of fats.

This dish has 386 calories, suitable for any meal (one should not eat less than the body requires, as it can damage the body's metabolism, leading to a hibernation state and causing the yo-yo effect).
The main nutrients are divided into:
Carbs 6.8g
Fat from meat and oil 24.8g
Protein 37.8g

Steps

  1. 1

Start by making the rice using finely chopped cauliflower instead of rice.

  2. 2

Add olive oil to a pan. Once hot, add the chopped cauliflower and stir-fry until cooked. Then add the egg and stir to combine for a fragrant egg aroma. This creates cauliflower fried rice, which can be used as a rice substitute.

  3. 3

Make the stir-fried basil as usual, using olive oil.

  4. 4

Pound the chili peppers with garlic and stir-fry with oil over medium heat until fragrant. Add the minced pork and cook until done. Season with a little dark soy sauce (as it mostly contains sugar). Sprinkle with basil leaves and serve with the cauliflower fried rice.
