Ingredients

  1. 2 cupschana dal
  2. 4onion finely chopped
  3. 5-6garlic cloves
  4. 1/2 inchginger
  5. 10-12green chillies
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Water for soak chana dal
  8. For vada gravy
  9. 2small onion cut into lengthwise
  10. 4-5garlic cloves
  11. 1/2 inchginger
  12. 2 tbsppeanuts
  13. 2 tbspdry coconut
  14. Water as required for gravy

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly soak chanadal in enough water for 3/4 hrs.

    Soaked chandal ka pani nikalkar mixi main daradara pees liya

    Pisi hui dal main se thodi dal baju main vade ke liye rakh diya

    Ab cooker ke dibbe ko thodasa tel lagakar usame pisi hui dal dalkar cooker main 4 whistles hone tak rakh diya

    Green chillies, garlic cloves and ginger ko mixi main pees liya

    Cooker thanda hone ke baad paki hui dal ko hathse nikalkar khulla kar diya

    Ab ek kadhai mein 4 tbsp tel dalkar rai, jeera dala usake baad curry leaves dalkar chopped onion dala

    Onion acchese bhunane ke baad usame hing, haldi powder dala aur pisi hui mirchi ki paste dali. Namak dala. Acchese bhuna

    Khuli kiye hui dal ka dala aur acchechse chalaya.

    Chopped coriander leaves dale.

    Ab dal tayyarho gayi.

    Baju main rakhi hui pisi dal main thoda namak aur green chilli paste dali aur acchese mix kiya

    Kadhai mein vade talane ke liyetel dala aur vade tal liye

    Ab dusare kadhai main thoda tel dalkar pahale dry coconut bhuna fir peanuts dalkar bhuna fir chopped onion dal kar bhuna

    Ab mixi main bhune huye dry coconut, peanuts, onion, garlic cloves, ginger dalkar pees liya.

    Pan main thoda tel dalkar rai, jeera dalkar tadaka kiya, curry leaves hing aur haldi powder dala baad main pisi hui paste dali acchese bhuna

    Fir lal tikhat,kala masala aur namak dalkar bhuna

    Fir gravy ke anusar pani dala aur ubala

  20. 20

    Ubalane ke baad usamain vade dale aur ek bar fir ubala

  21. 21

    Garama garam jowar ki bhari ke sath parosa
