Steps

In cooker add ghee, mustard,jira,pepper,green chilli,red chilli and fry well.

Add the garlic and onion.

Add 1 spoon salt,Half spoon turmeric powder.

Mix well until it turns brownish and add tomato.Mix well and keep it in low flame for few minutes.

Take the soaked red Gram and 1 cup of rice,add it to the cooker

Since we have already soaked red gram in water,no need to add water separately for Red gram.Add 2 cups of water for one glass of Rice in cooker.

Boil for sometime and then close the cooker and keep it for 2 whitsle.

Arisi Parupu sadham is now Ready.
