Ingredients

  1. 1 cupraw mango puree
  2. 1 cupbesan
  3. 1 cupoats
  4. 1/2 cupbuttermilk
  5. 1/2 cupwater
  6. 1 tablespoonoil
  7. 1 pinchsalt
  8. 1 pinchhaldi
  9. for tadka
  10. 2 tablespoonoil
  11. 1/2 teaspoonrai
  12. 1 tablespoongrated coconut
  13. 1 pinchhing
  14. 2green chilies finely chopped
  15. 5-6curry leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind and dry roast oats and keep aside.
    In bowl, add dry roasted oats, besan, salt, haldi, mango puree, buttermilk and make a batter.

    Make sure there are no lumps in it.
    In pan, pour this battery and keep on stiring it evenly to avoid lump formation.

  3. 3

    Continuously stir it for about 8-10 minutes.
    Grease back side of a flat plate

  4. 4

    Then pour a portion of this mixture on back side of plate.
    Spread it evenly as thin as possible.

  5. 5

    Leave it for a while and cut into thin strips.
    Roll strips and cut in into 1 inch piece and place it in a plate.

  6. 6

    For tadka, in pan, add oil.
    Add rai, leaves, hing, green chilies, curry leaves and turn off flame.
    Pour this tadka on Mango Oats khandvi and garnish with grated coconut and serve.
